STROHEIM COLOUR IV EVENT SERIES WITH DAVID KLARISTENFELD
April 2, 2026 | By The Textile Company | News
To mark the launch of Stroheim Colour Vol. IV, we had the pleasure of hosting David Klaristenfeld, Vice President of Fabricut Inc., across a series of showroom events in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Each gathering offered a unique opportunity to connect with our design community, while sharing reflections from Paris Déco Off and exploring the heritage and direction of the Fabricut family of brands.
SYDNEY
Our first event took place in Sydney, where we welcomed guests to an intimate lunch and Q&A led by David Klaristenfeld and our Brand & Creative Director, Jess Fitzgibbon.
The session centred on introducing the Stroheim collection, complemented by a preview of S. Harris and Vervain. Through open discussion, guests gained a deeper understanding of the history behind the brands, alongside insights into how these textiles can be thoughtfully applied within contemporary projects.
MELBOURNE
We then travelled to Melbourne for a multi-day visit that extended beyond the showroom into a series of more immersive experiences.
The presentation and Q&A built on earlier conversations, offering further context around the design influences and versatility of the new collection. Additional touchpoints, including studio visits and a private dinner, created a more intimate setting for ongoing dialogue and engagement with the local design community.
PERTH
Our final stop in Perth brought a slightly different format, with a morning presentation held in our Claremont showroom.
This session broadened the conversation to include key takeaways from Paris Déco Off, from emerging colour palettes to evolving material directions. Guests were invited to explore the Stroheim collection up close, with discussions focusing on layering, texture and the enduring role of craftsmanship in modern interiors.
LOOKING AHEAD…
Across all three cities, the series highlighted the strength of our design community and a shared appreciation for materiality and storytelling. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to seeing how these collections are brought to life in future projects.
