BELLEVUE BELLE
by Carla Barton
“This family home welcomes you with open arms. A sweeping classical staircase evokes the senses as you step into this expansive 3 level, 7 bedroom, 5.5 bath home. Every corner of this house has been generously considered and boasts custom features curated from all over the globe. With Europeans and American influences, the spaces feel playfully traditional, introducing a new timeless language that demands attention.
From chandeliers imported from the USA, mirrors from Italy, hand crafted gas cookers from France and carved marble mantles from London, a worldly sensibility speaks in volumes creating a unique aesthetic that draws from different periods and places.”

BELLOWS HOUSE
by O’Gormans
“The striking architecture of the “Pyramids of Flinders” is beautifully softened by the timeless elegance of 100% linen curtains in Amalfi Natural. Chosen for its organic texture and understated warmth, the linen complements the home’s raw concrete finishes and sculptural forms while bringing a sense of softness and serenity to each space.
The natural hue captures and diffuses the ever-changing coastal light, creating a gentle interplay of shadow and movement throughout the interiors. Its relaxed drape adds warmth and depth without detracting from the bold architectural elements, allowing the curtains to feel both luxurious and effortless.
Designed as a permanent and enduring beach house, the home embraces a palette of honest, natural materials. The Amalfi Natural linen sits seamlessly within this vision, reinforcing the connection between architecture and landscape. Its timeless appeal ensures the window furnishings feel as considered and enduring as the home itself – a quiet yet essential element in creating spaces that are both striking and inviting.”

LANAI HOUSE
by Wild Orchid Spaces
“The client envisioned the property as a distinctive holiday retreat capable of comfortably accommodating both weekend escapes and larger family groups, requiring a design that balanced flexibility and functionality with a strong sense of personality. Inspired by the discovery of the home’s original tiki bar and backyard pool, the design direction embraced a glamorous, Slim Aarons-inspired aesthetic that celebrated leisure, escapism and effortless sophistication through bold colour, materiality and curated indoor and outdoor living spaces.
The Orsay fabric by Camengo in colour Terre Battue was used to reupholster a pair of circa 1980s vintage Italian armchairs. These chairs were placed in the Lanai’s sitting room, flanked by tropical palm trees, a nostalgic art print and a custom marble topped coffee table. A cohesive colour palette was established for this project, drawing inspiration from the sunset hues of Palm Springs and the rich tones synonymous with 1970s revival modernism. Warm terracottas, sun-washed peaches, caramel tones and earthy neutrals were carefully layered throughout the home, creating a visual thread that connects each space through a cohesive design language.
The selection of Orsay fabric successfully balanced the practical demands of a high-traffic holiday home with the project’s aesthetic ambitions, breathing new life into the vintage armchairs. The reupholstered pieces retain their original character while feeling refreshed and relevant, becoming distinctive focal points that contribute to Lanai’s layered sense of history, personality and effortless glamour.”

DARLING POINT PENTHOUSE
by Greg Natale Design
While designing a home in Bowral, Greg Natale was also commissioned to work on the owners’ city residence in Sydney’s Darling Point. In need of an interim place to call home while their country property underwent extensive renovations, the clients discovered a recently refurbished gem with sweeping views over the harbour.
Inspired by the couple’s appreciation for the finer things, Greg approached the penthouse interior with a mindset of restrained elegance. Focusing on enhancement rather than overhaul, he built upon the apartment’s strong architectural foundation, elevating the base palette with luxurious materials and glossy finishes. In the kitchen, Greg’s Palladio marble tile introduces dramatic contrast, while in the bedroom, wall-to-wall silk bamboo carpeting lends a soft, opulent feel. All three bathrooms were redesigned, each featuring a different glass-mosaic tile to create immersive, textural spaces that balance the more understated living areas. Low-slung Italian furniture fits the modern space with sleekness and ease, completing an interior that is both distinguished and comfortably urban.

SNUG CLUB
by Alessandra Smith Design
“Inspired by the conversation pits of the 1970s and Melbourne’s intimate bar culture, Snug Club reimagines a compact studio apartment as a richly layered retreat for gathering, music and conversation.
At the centre of the space sits a custom-designed conversation pit upholstered in Camengo’s Illinois velvet jacquard in Bronze. Chosen for its dynamic woven motif and exceptional tactile richness, the fabric introduces depth, warmth and rhythm to the interior. The raised weave responds beautifully to the changing light, while the interlocking pattern accentuates the sculptural form of the pit and creates a strong visual anchor within the room.
Rich in atmosphere and texture, the project is an exploration of mood, materiality and memory, resulting in a space that feels both transportive and deeply personal.”
