In March, The Textile Company had the privilege of hosting Clément Rivera from MISIA PARIS across our Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane showrooms. These exclusive events celebrated the launch of MISIA’s stunning new collection, CAPRISSIMA, inspired by the luminous shores of the Isle of Capri. Beyond our showroom presentations, Clément also travelled extensively to visit clients throughout Australia, sharing the exquisite craftsmanship and design excellence that has positioned MISIA PARIS alongside luxury fashion houses like Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

The collection that captured our hearts at Paris Déco Off continues to set new standards in textile design, with Chanel comparing MISIA’s exceptional quality in interior textiles to their own benchmark in fashion. Each event provided an intimate opportunity to experience this Italian-inspired collection firsthand, while celebrating the artistry that defines contemporary luxury interiors.

BRISBANE

Our Australian tour began in Brisbane with an elegant lunchtime presentation at the Textile Design Centre in Newstead. This intimate gathering combined the launch of MISIA’s CAPRISSIMA collection with insights from Camengo, offering Brisbane’s design community a comprehensive view of the latest French textile innovations.

The presentation format allowed for in-depth exploration of both collections, with Clément Rivera sharing the inspiration and craftsmanship behind each piece. The Textile Company’s Brand & Creative Director Jessica Fitzgibbon complemented the fabric presentations with key colour and material directions from Paris Déco Off, providing valuable insights for 2026 projects. The relaxed lunchtime setting fostered meaningful conversations and connections within Brisbane’s design community, making it a perfect start to our national tour.

SYDNEY

Two days later, our Alexandria showroom transformed into a slice of Parisian luxury for an evening celebration that captured the essence of CAPRISSIMA. The Sydney event embraced the collection’s Italian inspiration with champagne, canapés, and live music with a distinctly French flair, creating an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the sophisticated textiles on display.

With a dress code of “Parisian chic,” guests immersed themselves in the world of MISIA PARIS while Clément Rivera presented the collection’s narrative – from the sun-drenched terraces of Capri to the refined interiors these fabrics were destined to grace. The evening format allowed for relaxed networking and deeper appreciation of the collection’s intricate details, with attendees particularly drawn to the way MISIA balances Italian coastal inspiration with French sophistication.

MELBOURNE

Our final presentation took place at the Prahran showroom, where Melbourne’s design community gathered despite a cold and rainy evening. The intimate indoor setting created a warm contrast to the weather outside, with guests embracing the cozy atmosphere while exploring the sun-inspired CAPRISSIMA collection.

The Melbourne event maintained the same elegant presentation format, with champagne, canapés, and French-inspired entertainment creating the perfect backdrop for Clément Rivera’s passionate presentation.
