“We selected the Misia faux fur to custom make a throw for this chaise as the texture brings the next layer of luxury and warmth to the space. Our client is a lover of pink so this colourway was the perfect choice to compliment the bespoke de Gournay panels and balance the colour palette of the room.”

“It was only fitting that we chose Fabricut’s Flybird-Storm 03 as our hero fabric for one of the cottages at Nimbo Fork Lodge where the Three Blue Duck’s restaurant resides. Flybird-Storm 03 was the perfect fit for our brief, which was to incorporate elements of the natural outside environment here in the Snowy Valleys, and to create a comfortable, relaxing space. Fabricut Market Stripe-Platinum 01 was a wonderful compliment to the Flybird fabric as the soft greys worked beautifully together to create a calming feel.”

“We used a custom printed version of the Phillip Jeffries mural ‘Beyond’ in one of the bedroom suites at Falcon Brae Villa, in Motueka – New Zealand. The tones, texture and romanticised patterns are evocative of the stunning view of windswept hills and majestic, ever-changing sky through the windows opposite. The perfect answer to our client’s request to ‘bring the outdoors, in.”

We used the playful James Malone, Scotch tartan fabric, in the adjacent, much newer, wing of The Mt Erica Hotel. It helped us retain the more traditional, stylistic elements of the old front bar, whilst allowing us to step forward in time. What was initially briefed to be mid-century design-inspired, evolved to something more playful and theatrical; this area becomes a looser, odder, more filmic play on the mid-century tradition of the neighbourhood pub. The wood paneling remains but transitions from the more traditional profiles into something more eccentric; the tartan upholstery takes on a more modern colour palette and the classic timber floorboards give way to cork.

Our studio space is a home away from home where we host our clients for consultations and presentations. It was essential for the IDI entrance to make a statement yet be welcoming, timeless and elegant. “Mystic Weave” was a superb choice for this. I don’t think a week goes by that we are not complimented on the effect it has on our visitors!

Botticelli Ristorante & Bar is all about celebrating authentic fresh Italian food, love and Italy! Our clients wanted a space to reflect their tradition and passion for Italian food and wine. Our approach was to create an interior that felt inviting, romantic, textural and refined – by adding the right amount of warmth, transforming Botticelli into a charming Italian holiday in Brighton. The selected Trend fabric for the banquette seating upholstery was the perfect choice as it was just what we were looking for: a romantic yet refined fabric just like a Sophia Loren dress!

Our client’s brand, “Ironfish”, and client cultural background being Chinese seemed a perfect fit for us selecting this “Great Wall” vinyl wallpaper. We saw subtle synergies in the bold pattern repeat, the strong relationship to metal and the darting reflective movement.
