SANDERSON DESIGN GROUP — INTRODUCING OUR NEW AUSTRALIAN DISTRIBUTER
We are delighted to share an important update regarding the distribution of Sanderson Design Group brands in Australia. To support your design projects and streamline access to our portfolios, The Textile Company has been appointed as the official Australian distributor for Sanderson, Morris & Co., Zoffany, Harlequin and Scion.
Founded in 2012 by industry pioneer Peter Fitzgibbon, The Textile Company has built an outstanding reputation across Australia for exceptional customer service, expertise, and a commitment to quality. We are proud to welcome the team to our global partner network, uniting our historic British heritage with their strong regional showroom presence.
The Textile Company will commence trading effective immediately, so please send all general enquiries, sample requests and purchase orders to sales@textilecompany.com.au for the team to process for dispatch.
For sampling access in showrooms, The Textile Company will separately advise once their showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra are sampled and ready for sourcing. This will include the royal heritage of Highgrove by Sanderson, the timeless elegance of Morris & Co. x Huntington, and the opulent craft of Zoffany x Michael S. Smith indoor outdoor fabrics. In the meantime, all sourcing can be done online.
As we begin this exciting journey, we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Domestic Textile Corporation and Jonathan Dempsey for their decades of partnership and commitment to our brand portfolio. Their contribution to our success in Australia has been invaluable.
Please note that Clarke & Clarke will continue to be represented in Australia by James Dunlop Textiles, accessible via its dedicated sites in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

“We sourced the Fabricut Bazaar fabric in blue for use as a custom made ottoman in our family friendly living room at our East Toowoomba 2 project. We find patterns in family zones are very forgiving for clients with little ones and all of the associated wear and tear! This room needed a vibrant fabric that was going to anchor the other patterned fabrics utilised in this layered room instead of competing with them… The paisley did just that! The trim was a fun addition that gave the ottoman some formality and structure and kept the multicoloured space looking refined.”
