James Malone, originally from London, arrived in Malaga at just 19 years old. By a twist of fate, he discovered his passion for textile design—a passion that would shape his life’s work. Inspired by the rich contrasts of his surroundings, James draws from a fusion of cultures, childhood memories, and the breathtaking landscapes of Andalusia. His collections are a reflection of the west and the east, evoking African horizons and the merging of the Mediterranean and Atlantic seas.

Since founding his brand in 2011, James has remained at the helm as both owner and creative director. His design process is deeply personal, beginning and ending with the fabric itself. Every creation is a pursuit of authenticity, with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each textile tells its own story.

Natural fibres such as linen, wool, and bamboo take centre stage in his designs, often paired with unconventional prints and structured jacquards infused with tribal influences. The collection is further enriched by intricately woven solids, ethereal voiles and wallpaper designs inspired by the textiles themselves.
